2018 Luke Hanks Memorial Scholarship 5K Color Run or Walk Race Description
Our 3rd Luke Hanks Memorial Scholarship 5K will be a COLOR RUN! Starting at 10AM (Registration starts 9:00AM) at Sandoval City Park. This is a fun run and all proceeds go to the Luke Hanks Memorial Scholarship through Kaskaskia College Foundation. Each year graduating seniors from Sandoval or Carlyle High School are awarded Luke's Scholarship to attend or return to Kaskaskia College.
In May 2018 every Sandoval graduate attending KC who applied for Luke's Scholarship was awarded at least $500 for tuition!
Each participant who registers for a shirt and bag will receive a race number, shirt, color packet and wristband. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Participants may run or walk, whatever they prefer.
