LSD 5K Color Run

On June 9th of 2019, the Lake Shore Drive (LSD) 5k Color Run will take place in celebration of our 7th anniversary as Lurie’s Children’s Hospital! This special event will be organized by our hospital and its wonderful donors. This run will be a great way to get community members from within the City of Chicago, the suburbs surrounding the city, as well as those from out of state to come celebrate for a great cause. We are hoping to bring in roughly 10,000 participants. This 5k run will follow a course alongside Lake Michigan on Lake Shore Drive in downtown Chicago.  Participants will get to experience the beauty of the city while helping to raise money for the children of Lurie’s Children’s Hospital. Each runner will have a minimum $35 entry fee/donation. The runner who is able to contribute the highest amount of donations will be awarded with a rainbow name plaque hung in the hospital and goodie bag with Lurie’s apparel.
