for

The Bird Walk for Recovery as we  raise funds and awareness with Shatterproof, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the devastation the disease of addiction causes families.

The Bird Walk for Recovery 2019 will walk with Shatterproof to raise funds to fight and remove stigma attached to substance abuse and support people and families in recovery.

Every dollar we raise together will work to ensure that everyone  with a substance use disorder has access to treatment that's based on proven research.

Shatterproof is changing the conversation about addiction. They are saving lives by helping pass laws that prevent more of our loved ones from becoming addicted to opioids and supporting first responders who can rescue those who overdose. Your support helps expand their efforts to support prevention, treatment, rescue and recovery of addiction.

The Shatterproof mission is very important to me--and I know with the support of good people like you we can make a difference.

Please support the Bird Walk for Recovery fundraiser by making a donation to our Shatterproof Team today.

Together, we are stronger than addiction.

What?

The 5K Bird Walk for Recovery exists to challenge addiction related stigma, encourage, empower and educate people in recovery, their friends and family.

Why?

Because addiction affects everyone - but so does recovery.

The 5K Bird Walk For Recovery is a tribute to my son Seneca 'Bird' Gibbs.

It is Seneca's life and his death that inspires this walk.
