I’ve participated in this race for several years, and it’s always been an incredible experience—great course, excellent organization, and an inspiring community atmosphere. This event is truly inclusive. You’ll see athletes in wheelchairs, wearing protective headgear, and others accompanied by support service staff. It’s a beautiful celebration of perseverance, ability, and community spirit. Come out and enjoy the fun! Participants receive a t-shirt, snack, water, medal, and can visit a variety of booths offering information on services for individuals with special needs in Santa Clara County. The San Andreas Regional Center plays a vital role in supporting families with members who have physical and other challenges. My son has received their services since he was a school-aged child. Today, he is in his mid-40s, and I’m deeply grateful that San Andreas continues to support him in meeting some of his ongoing special needs.
