100 Mile EnduroYak Race Description
This event is to help fund the training and placement of service dogs for our Veterans and First Responders.
This is our 2nd year holding this event. This a 100 mile kayak event that will start at Suwannee State Park in Live Oak, Florida with a mandatory overnight stay at Ivey Park in Branford, Fl. The next morning racers will start again at first light and finish the race in Manatee Springs State Park in Cheifland, Fl.
There is also the option to only do the first 50 miles at a reduced rate. The start point is the same and the end will be the afternoon of the first day at Ivey Park in Branford. Racers that feel they can finish the full 100 miles the next day can opt in to pay the remaining amount that evening.
Those wishing to leave their vehicles at Manatee State Park may do so we will shuttle from Manatee Springs to Suwannee State Park. We have property available for those wishing to camp Friday evening.
Please keep in mind all proceeds from the race go toward providing service dogs to our veterans and first responders at no cost to them and it greatly reduces what we need to offset our general service dog training for anyone in need of this assistance.
Meals will be provided at all mandatory stop points. Water will be made available at all check ins and on our safety boat.
Prizes are building but we are looking at first place being a Crystal Kayak.
