Sights and Sounds of Christmas 5K and 1K Jingle Bell Run - 2019

Saturday, December 8th, 2018 in San Marcos Plaza Park-9 AM start. Registration opens at 7:30 AM.

DETAILS: The Sights & Sounds of Christmas 5K and 1K Jingle Bell Run runs/walks through our beautiful downtown and Historic District. The race will begin and finish at the San Marcos Plaza Park at Hutchison & CM Allen. Christmas music will be enjoyed along 5K route! Entrants will receive a long sleeve technical shirt.

PACKET PICK UP: Inside Sights & Sounds (click here for Festival Info) 6-11PM each night during the festival at the 5K TENT located at the main gates at CM Allen & Hutchison Streets. *If not attending the festival but want to pick up packet, must go to volunteer check inside the Chamber of Commerce office during festival hours.  The Chamber is located at 202 N C M Allen Pkwy.  C M Allen is closed for construction. You will need to park and walk to the Chamber office or take advantage of the Free Shuttle.  Click HERE to check out where to park/shuttle.  Go to the volunteer check in and let them know you are doing packet pick up.  They will handle it from there.  If you wish to enter the festival  you will have one free entry to use.  Picking up early means you get entered into a raffle ($550 value) for some cool prizes to be awarded race morning.

DRIVE THRU PACKET PICK UP: DUE TO ROAD CONSTRUCTION ON CM ALLEN WE WILL NOT HAVE DRIVE THRU PACKET PICK UP! PACKETS ARE AVAILABLE EACH NIGHT OF THE FESTIVAL AT THE 5K TENT, inside the Chamber office/volunteer check on CM Allen and Hutchison, and on  RACE MORNING. 

*****PICK UP YOUR RUNNER BAG PRIOR TO RACE DAY AT THE FESTIVAL FOR A CHANCE TO WIN $550 IN CASH AND PRIZES!!

*****IF RUNNER BAG IS NOT PICKED UP BY START OF RACE ON RACE DAY you can pick up at Core Running Company in San Marcos on CM Allen after Dec 10th. 

ATTIRE & PRIZES: Contest for runners dressed in holiday spirit!! Most festive runner will receive a door prize!

We provide the jingle bells! Awards ceremony after the 1K race. Santa trophy to top finishers in five-year age groups M/F beginning with age 9 and below, including Masters.  Door prizes will be given out during the ceremony! Each 1K runner gets a trophy. 

*ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS DEC 7th at NOON!!!!  In person registration can be completed at race tent each festival night 6-11 PM.
