Proud to Run Chicago Race Description

Proud to Run Chicago has been a part of Chicago’s Gay and Lesbian Pride Week activities since 1982. Proud To Run (PTR) is an annual 10K run & 5K run/walk along the lakefront, focused on celebrating pride in a healthy way and raising funds to support the greater Chicago area LGBTQ community. In 2015 the race had a record turnout of more than 1,700 registrants. More than 2,200 people participated in last year’s event by running, walking, volunteering and sponsoring. Come join us this June!
