Norfolk Police & Fire 5K for Autism

The Norfolk Police, Fire and Recreation Departments are excited to host a 5K run and kids run/obstacle course to raise funds in support of Autism Awareness.  The 5K portion of the event will begin and end at the Freeman Kennedy School in Norfolk (70 Boardman St).  There will be a shorter race and obstacle course set up in the Freeman Kennedy field for kids of all ages.  Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale at the event.  Folks who pre-register for the 5K will receive an event t-shirt and kids who register will be provided a t-shirt they can decorate on the day of the event.  The 5K race check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the race will begin at 8:30 a.m. The kids event is ongoing from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, you will be directed where to park.  In order to receive the size t-shirt of your choice, you must pre-register by April 15, 2024.  You will still be able to regiser up until the event, however t-shirt availability will be limited and not guarenteed.  Additional donations are always appreciated.
