MZZ RUN THE RUNWAY 5K Race Description

The Marion Municipal Airport is excited to announce our first annual Run the Runway 5K!  Join us for your unique opportunity to run, walk, or jog on the actual runway of your local airport and get closer to aviation than ever before.

Location: Marion Municipal Airport (MZZ)

Date: April 18, 2026 

Time: 9:30 am

Registration Fees: Adults $30, Youth (6-17 y/o) $25, Kids (0-5 y/o) FREE

Receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and a voucher for a scoop of ice cream from our in-airport ice cream shop, Sky High Scoops, when you register!

All proceeds benefit the Grant Regional Career Center (GRCC) Aviation Academy, providing local students with more opportunities to begin or continue their flight training.  For more information on the GRCC Aviation Academy, please visit their website here.
