Foster Care 5k Race Description

Goodwill Homes Community Services, Inc. is holding its’ annual “ Foster Care 5K Run”, Saturday, October 19th, 2019 at Overton Park, East Parkway Pavilion. This will be a fun filled event which will benefit the foster children of Goodwill Homes Community Services Foster Care program. In addition to the 5k race, there will be free food, as well as music for all during the event which will culminate with a line dance party!.

The event registration and check-in will begin at 8:00am and the run will begin at 9:00am. The cost is $15 per person and $10 per person in a group of 10 or more. The community is encouraged to participate by being a registered runner, walker, donor or a sponsor of the event. Pre-registration will take place from now until Friday, October 18th at Goodwill Homes Community Services located at 4590 Goodwill Road, Memphis, TN 38109 or you can register online at racesonline.org. Each registered walker will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
