Kicking Asphalt Rockingham County 5K and Wellness Walk

The Rockingham County Government Wellness Committee in partnership with Rockingham Community College, is excited to announce the 6th Annual Kicking Asphalt Rockingham County 5K and 1 Mile Wellness Walk. This year's event will take place on Thursday, April 25th at 5:30 pm and will start at the Rockingham County Governmental Center (371 NC HWY 65, Wentworth). Although this non-competitive, rain or shine event is geared towards Rockingham County Government and Rockingham Community College employees and their families, we encourage any race lover out there, no matter their skill level to get up, get active, and join in the fun! In an effort to give back to Rockingham County, this year all proceeds will go to benefit Rockingham County Opioid Task Force and to sponsor a $250 RCC student scholarship. Please note that registration fees ($20 before 4/05/18; $25 after 4/05/18) are non-refundable and all fees must be paid in full in order to pick up race materials (t-shirt and bib numbers) the week of the race.
