The Awakening 5K - Changing America One Step at a Time
The Awakening is a Christian movement initiated to be a catalyst for positive change in America’s cities. Frustrated with disparities that foster negativity and hatred, we seek to activate young adults (18 – 35) of all backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses in positive engagement to help transform their communities by committing selfless acts of service. We have to “become the solution to the problems” that plague our country.
Donations received will go towards the community service projects we will be doing across America during the The Awakening project. They projects include but are not limited to: feeding the homeless, street and community cleanup /beautification, minor home repairs, urban literacy, and sponsoring orphanages.
