Sunnyslope 5k Run and Walk Race Description
The First-Annual SUNNYSLOPE FUN(D) RUN!
The Sunnyslope Fun(d) Run will be held on April 8, 2017.
Check-in begins at 7a, Group warm-up at 7:45, Start time at 8a. Kids’ Mile starts at 8:15a.
Join us at center field for games, coffee, exciting raffles, and live music for all who attend! Bring your friends and family to RUN, PLAY, and LEARN about the importance of free education!
The proceeds will support the grassroots organization Hug It Forward, empowering a rural Guatemalan community to build a school. A new schoolhouse will enable all of their youngest generations to confront the challenges of a changing world.
The race will begin on the Sunnyslope High School football field and will wind through a pre-determined route until the finish line back at Sunnyslope.
Park and check in at the Sunnyslope HS Track (35 W Dunlap Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021). A fun awards ceremony will follow the race!
Come on out! Pre-registration for the 5k OPENS on March 13, 2017, and CLOSES 9pm on April 7, 2017.

*FAMILIES: Includes 2 adults and 5 children (12 and under). Register your family as a team. One parent/guardian will register as Team Captain, paying the $35 fee. You may register up to six other family members in the same transaction, or they may register separately. Family members register UNDER YOUR TEAM NAME as Teammates. Questions?
