SLHC Light it Up Blue 5k for Autism Awareness

Join us on April 13th, 2019 to raise money for Autism Awareness at Central Michigan University! Run or walk with us at our Light It Up Blue Autism Awareness 5k. This is a fundraiser, there will be no official timing or rewards provided. This race will go on rain or shine; all ages are welcome! The event will start at 9:00am (registration begins at 8:30am), and ends at 12:30pm. Registration is $15 for adults or children. The event is presented by CMU's department of Communication Sciences and Disorders: Speech-Language and Hearing Club and the Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Organization. All proceeds will benefit CMU's very own Summer Specialty Speech Clinic (SSC)! ALL money will be donated to help send children to SSC. Many students who attend the summer speech camp are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
