The Cougar Literacy Run is a community 5k (3.1 mile) race that benefits the students of Manassas Park and Cougar Elementary Schools. Proceeds are used to purchase print and digital resources to enhance literacy instruction. Online and day of race registration is available. The course has PR (personal record) potential and age group awards, raffle prizes, and post-race refreshments are part of the event.
