Louisiana Watermelon Run Race Description

The 2021 Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5k event offers a great challenge to local runners and walkers. This course is a fast first mile downhill followed by what we like to affectionately call Watermelon Mountain at mile 2.

This year, proceeds from the event will go to Willpower Foundation, Inc. This is a non profit organization made up of volunteers in Northeast Louisiana that host events to race money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Learn more about the organization from their website teamwillpoweronline.com

To top it all off, at the end of the race there will be slices of locally grown Louisiana Watermelon for all finishers to enjoy.

Your race entry will include this years race t-shirt guaranteed for online registration until July 24th.

Race day registration begins at 6:30 AM in parking lot in front of the Farmerville First Baptist Church, 403 N. Main St., Farmerville, LA 71241.
