A 5k to bring awareness to the seriousness of eating disorders and image disorders. I want to bring awareness to the disease and to the recovery process. This race is to let go of our day to day worries and negative thoughts. I want everyone to get together and just have a good time with people they love. I want to show everyone the importance of being positive and loving yourself. I want to tell the world my story and hopefully motivate other girls and boys that they don't have to go through this alone. i want to finally open up about my story and all the other disorders I have to face on a day to day basis. I know running can be an escape for some people so I want to show everyone what I love to do and making it about an amazing cause. All proceeds will go to the national eating disorder association.
