Central 5K Challenge
Central 5K Challenge Race Description
The Central 5k Challenge is an opportunity to get out and run while raising funds that are necessary to provide critical resources for our Central community. We hope it will also be a chance for you to connect with friends, alumni, parents, current students and participate by running a 5K (3.1 miles) on a course of your choosing. This could be in your neighborhood, in your driveway, or even on a treadmill. Please be advised that this event is not in-person.
All participants will get a commemorative t-shirt. We encourage everyone to get moving in their own way, whether running or walking, going the distance outside or on a treadmill, reach the 5k mark, and then log your time on our page.
Your participation in this race goes miles! Your involvement guarantees that AACHS can provide our students with opportunities for student success. The funds raised will be invested to support our athletic programs, and our classes to build a foundation to help them grow to become the leaders that our communities need.

This is my first year doing this race and I am looking forward to it again next year! I was able to walk 10k this year, and hopefully I push myself to it next year as well!

Had a lot of fun running in the beautiful weather! It was a great way to explore nature and exercise. Can't wait to participate next year, hopefully with my friends and family this time.
