Welcome to the Hope for the Homeless 5K benefiting Back On My Feet!
Following our success in other cities, this exciting new race is coming to Brooklyn to give all borough participants close to Prospect Park the ability to show off their health and wellness campaigns and run or walk a 5K of which proceeds go to Back On My Feet - a organization established throughout New York City and other US cities focused on providing training, wellness assistance and financial literacy to return the homeless back to normalcy.
Nestled and completely contained in Prospect Park, this electronically chip timed USATF-certified 5K Walk/Run is being held to experience fun with friends, family, locals and tourists for a great cause.
Register today before prices increase on May 15th:
- 5K ONLY - $35
which includes the cost of the finisher's medal, pre and post refreshments, and top prizes per age category. Awards for the fastest male and female in each age category will be given: 18 – 25, 26 – 35, 36 – 40, 41 – 50,51 – 60, 61 – 70, 71+ as well as top finisher as wheelchair user, mom with running stroller, dad with running stroller.
COURSE AMENITIES
Water will be available on the course along with replenishing snacks and finish line photos.

BIB PICKUP
Please note Race Day pickup for runners will commence at 5:30AM for all runners/walkers at the area off of Wellhouse Drive.

The race will start and finish near the entrance to Wellhouse Drive not far from the LeFrak Center, Oriental Pavilion, and Smorgasburg.

RESULTS AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Results, finish line photos and selected videos will be posted on our website after the race.
DIRECTIONS
The B/Q/S trains are the closest to Prospect Park. The F Train to 15th St/Prospect Park and the 2/3 to Grand Army Plaza are within a mile walk to Prospect Park/race location.

REGULATIONS AND POLICIES
No refunds or deferrals are allowed. Strollers or dogs are allowed in the race as long as each runner can hear announcements.
All runners/walkers must finish within a 2 hr time frame for an official finish time.
