The Survivors' Challenge Race Description
I chose this project because it involved a cause that is close to my heart and the field that I am interested in. Three years ago, my mother was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. She is currently in remission but because of her former illness it inspired me to do a charity event. My choice to do a 5K for my senior project was a happy medium between event planning and a way to involved in raising money for the fight against breast cancer.
