Pups for Prevention - Special Halloween Event

Pack your pups and tennis shoes for Family Resource Center of Northeast Georgia's (FRC's) Pups for Prevention Special Halloween Event! We are hosting a SECOND Pups for Prevention 5K & Fun Run to kick off our Banks County location. The event will be held at 106 Yonah Homer Rd, Homer, GA 30547.

For this special event, we will be hosting an in-person 5K & Fun Run with a Halloween twist! Registration is $25 per adult and $10 OR one unused donated toy per child 16 & Under.

Pups for Prevention is a 5K fundraiser with the mission of promoting community awareness of Child Abuse Prevention and showcasing local support for Northeast Georgia families. While supporting an important cause, this event also gives participants the opportunity to show off some of the cutest pups around! This fundraiser supports FRC's mission of strengthening families and nurturing children by providing critical funds that bolster the incredible array of services offered to families in need throughout our communities. 

Register individually or create your own team! Teams can include families, businesses, or just groups of friends - we want YOU to have a great time celebrating and supporting our community. We encourage all attendees (including the four-legged ones) to dress up in their best Halloween costumes.

Free snacks will be provided to attendees.
