Welcome Runners to The 17th Annual Douglas Run/Walk for the Cure Turkey Trot 5K.
This annual event is held every Thanksgiving morning starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Airport Park in Douglas, Arizona. This event is a fundraiser to help provide direct financial assistance (Grants) to area community members who are battling cancer. The 5K is a walk/run event for all ages. Races include the 5K competitive run and three competitive races for children. A 40-yard dash for ages 2-4. A 400-yard dash for ages 5-8 and an 800-yard dash for ages 9-12.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three male and top three female finishers in each age category.
Other onsite events make this a great morning of family fun benefiting our community as we look upon our own blessings each Thanksgiving.
Paid Participants will receive an official "Turkey Trot" race long sleeve t-shirt.
