Borealis Fun Run 5k Race Description

Beaver Sports and the UAF Running Team are partnering up to bring you the 2021 BOREALIS FUN RUN 5K! It will be a snow trail race on January 9th at 7:00pm.

The Tracer 360 multi colored safety vest, ideal for winter running in Fairbanks, will be available for purchase at the cost price. Bring your own vest if you have one too!

Race start format will be in waves/pods of 10 racers every 2 minutes starting at 7:00:00PM.

Start and finish at Beaver Sports!

The race is FREE and we highly recommend donating $10-$20 to support the UAF Cross Country Running Teams!

Race day REGISTRATION will be from 5:00 - 6:45pm.

7:00 pm RACE START at Beaver Sports!

Grand prize: 1 free pair of ICEBUG shoes for first place women and first place men.
