Advent PT 5k

The Advent PT 5K run/walk, taking place on August 23rd at the Sparta Sports Park, is more than just a race: it’s a movement grounded in community, compassion, and connection. Organized by Advent Physical Therapy, this event is dedicated to raising funds to support the continued development and accessibility of the Sparta Sports Park, a space that brings people together through movement, sport, and shared experiences.

Q: Can you walk the race?
     A: Yes, of course! Racers of every ability are encouraged to participate.
Q: Is the race stroller and pet friendly?
     A: Yes! The entirety of the path is paved and stroller friendly. Furry friends are also welcome to join.
Q: Is this a timed race?
     A: This is a fun run-style race that does have a timing board. However, there will not be timing chips in the bibs and this isn’t an official timed race with stats.
Q: Are there prizes or medals?
     A: Each racer will be gifted with a swag bag of goodies. No medals will be given.
Q: Where will the proceeds go?
     A: Proceeds will directly benefit the Sparta Sports Park.

Q: Can kids race?
     A: Yes! Kids under the age of 7 can join in the run with a registered parent or guardian for free.
