30th Annual Bare Buns 5k

Chilly Cheeks & Bare Buns 5K Runs at Star Ranch

Enjoy a rural run through Star Ranch in McDade, Texas — just 30 minutes east of Austin on US Hwy 290. Our scenic 5K course winds through open pastures and shaded woodland trails for about three kilometers before entering the developed portion of the ranch. The final two kilometers follow sand and gravel paths connecting member cottages and cabins, finishing at our beautiful pool.

After the race, cool off and relax by the pool while enjoying a light meal fresh off the grill as we announce the race results.

About the Series

Star Ranch is proud to be the premier stop of the A.A.N.R. Southwest Nude Racing Series. You don’t need to participate in any other race to join us here — everyone is welcome!

Our 5K events are clothing optional, meaning you can wear as much (or as little) as you like. All runners must be pre-registered before race day.
