This is year proceeds will go to The Ledet Family.
Mr. Matthew Ledet served in the United States Marines. He is a combat veteran who served multiple combat deployments to Iraq and ended his military career with military honors. He is a wounded warrior and has recently suffered a loss in his immediate family. This year, Nicholls State Veterans and Nicholls Rec Center will be dedicating all proceeds from our Heroes 5k to him and his four children.
