The Kickstart Confidence 25 Challenge is part of the CleftStrong Confidence Classic Edition 5K + Kids 1K. This year, we are partnering with LEAP Global Missions to help provide life-changing cleft surgeries and care for children who have limited or no access to specialized surgical and medical care, due to either economic barriers or lack of local medical professionals trained in these fields.
Some children born with cleft lip and palate lack access to the specialized care they need under a variety of specialties during the cleft medical journey, including reconstructive plastic and craniofacial surgery, ophthalmology, speech therapy, dentistry and orthodontics. Every $25 raised helps bring these children one step closer to surgery, recovery, and a brighter future.
