$383 Raised for Carlisle Family YMCA

For 167 years, the Carlisle Family YMCA has been deeply rooted in this community, growing and adapting to meet the needs of our neighbors. Each day, we serve kids, adults, seniors and families through programs that teach, protect, connect, heal, nourish and inspire. Our work is about strengthening people—and the communities we share—so that together, we can thrive.

We believe everyone has the ability to create positive change in their own life and in the lives of others. That’s why the Y opens its doors to all, regardless of background, circumstances or ability to pay. We provide membership and program scholarships because when everyone has the chance to be healthy, confident, connected and secure, the whole community benefits. And we know we can’t do this alone.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors—including the United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County, supporters of our Annual Campaign and our Everyone is Welcome Champion WellSpan Health—we were humbled to provide more than $372,983 in financial assistance and scholarships this past year, helping 2,231 children and adults participate in Y programs.
