The Utah Open Water Swim Series consists of three events, each with their own challenges and varying distances.  The swims are organized by Salt Lake Open Water (SLOW) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The three swims are described below:

Great Salt Lake Open Water Swim - CANCELLED FOR 2023

1 Mile and 10K events

Bear Lake Monster Swim - July 29, 2023

1/2 Mile, 1 Mile, 10K and 10K Relay events

Deer Creek Open Water Marathon Swim - August 12, 2023

1 Mile, 5K, 10K, and 10 mile events

UTAH TRIPLE CROWN

The Utah Triple Crown consists of the following swims:

10K @ Great Salt Lake Open Water Swim

10K @ Bear Lake Monster Swim

10 Mile @ Deer Creek Open Water Marathon Swim

Swimmers who complete these three swims in the same year will receive an award at the annual Salt Lake Open Water (SLOW) awards dinner.

MINI TRIPLE CROWN

The Mini Triple Crown consists of the following swims:

1 Mile @ Great Salt Lake Open Water Swim

1 Mile @ Bear Lake Monster Swim

1 Mile @ Deer Creek Open Water Marathon Swim

Swimmers who complete these three swims in the same year will receive an award at the annual Salt Lake Open Water (SLOW) awards dinner.
