Run the Runway Race Description

 

The Utah State University Aviation Program is hosting a Run the Runway 5K at the Logan-Cache Airport. This unique venue will give the chance for runners, families, aviation enthusiasts, and community members to to run on an actual runway used in daily airport operations. Prizes to top place finishers may include a discovery flight in an actual aircraft. Raffle prizes will be given our at the end of the race to include a flight in an aircraft. Come out to support USU's Aviation Program to raise money for the Frank de León Comprés Memorial Scholarship Run and get the unique experience of running on a runway!  There will also be a family mile at 9:10  a.m.

tough but unique

Even though the terrain is level for the entire run (airports are not hilly), this is a difficult 5k because you can see the entire course at one time. It feels like you're not making any progress when it's long, straight, and flat. And you can see all the runners at the same time. But it's super fun running on a runway.
