About Trooper Kenny Velez 5.11K
On September 15th, 2016, Trooper Kenny Velez a 27-year veteran of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Cleveland Post was killed in the line of duty while conducting traffic enforcement on the 90 interstate in Cleveland, OH, after he was struck outside his cruiser by another vehicle. He was just days away from retirement. Kenny was survived by his three children.
Kenny was a great and fair person in and out of his uniform.
Last year Devin, Andria and Christian were delighted to host the 1st Annual Trooper Kenny Velez 5.11K race in honor of their father. Over 200 + participants, both in person and digitally, from across the U.S. attended this event which also included over 20 Sponsors and Contributors. The goal this year is to double the number of participants and it is achievable with your help and appreciated contribution.
