Tiger Trout Triathlon at Scofield Reservior - USAT Sanctioned - 2016

We are sorry that due to the lack of registrations in this race we are cancelling the 2016 Tiger Trout Triathlon that was to be held on August 13, 2016. Everytime we do a race it is our intent to see it to race day, however it would be a disservice to our racers to hold this race with the small turn out based on registrations. If you are one of the few 24 participants who registered for this race we will be sending out 100% of your refund soon. If you were interested in racing this event and missed the chance this year due to the cancellation, we would strongly encourage you to register earlier in the future to all races. The earlier races have registrations the better chance we have to hold a race and prepare for a race of this scale. At two weeks prior we need to either decide if we are going to get the registrations or not and make a decision to cancel. We simply cannot hold a race for 24 racers. We may have reached the 100 racers we needed to break even for this event in the next 2 weeks however it was not likely based on numbers. Even if we did not break even, like we do not at some of our events, we needed more than 24 racers to have a fun event for the participants. Sorry if you were planning to do this race.
