The Rockne Ramble 2022 is a signature fundraising event. It is a day where we can all put aside everything else in our lives to share our faith, our laughter, and our stories to raise money that will benefit the children of our community to travel to Lisbon Portugal for World Youth Day 2023. When we come together, we are more than just a small community living in the surrounding area, but instead, a part of a larger community of people that want to make a difference at a world-wide event.
The Rockne Ramble is a 5k Run/2k Walk Event that is being held on November 5, at 4045 FM 535, Bastrop, Texas. The path starts at the Sacred Heart Church and will take you down a beautiful winding country road. Every participant will receive an awesome finisher’s medal, bib, and shirt. In addition, there will be first, second, and third place medals for the 5k divisions.
After the race, there will be plenty of food and refreshments for all to enjoy, along with comradery and fellowship experiences to share. Our local volunteer firefighters, Bastrop ESD #1, will be supporting this effort!
