About Educate and Empower Kids
Comprised of parents and professionals, Educate and Empower Kids (EEK) is a 501(c)(3) that provides essential resources for parents, educators and community leaders across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
In an effort to help those parenting in the digital age, EEK has authored the How to Talk to Your Kids About Pornography and 30 Days of Sex Talks programs, as well as 30 Days to a Stronger Child book. We offer valuable online content (educateempowerkids.org), including e-books, pamphlets, and free, downloadable lessons. We also currently performs in-school and community presentations for children and parents. It is our goal that parents, therapists, community leaders and the general public come to understand and work together to improve the digital health of our children and future generations.
Educate and Empower Kids has spoken to tens of thousands of parents and community leaders through community workshops, state and national conferences, podcasts, online conferences, radio and TV appearances and through our weekly articles on our website.
Our books have reached between 15,000-20,000 people throughout the US, Canada and other locations across the globe. Recently our books have been translated into Spanish. We plan to further our reach into Mexico, Central and South America during 2017. We have recently had requests to translate our books into Vietnamese and to print our books more readily in Canada. EEK has over 32,000 Facebook followers (English and Spanish pages) in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and South Africa. Our Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest followers top 6,200, with approximately 2000 subscribers to our monthly email.
