DonorConnect is the federally designated, nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery and transplantation of organs and tissues for Utah, southeastern Idaho, western Wyoming, and Elko, Nevada. Our service area encompasses 3.7 million residents, 94 hospitals, and three transplant centers – Primary Children’s Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, University of Utah Hospital (along with the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center).
Organ and tissue donation saves and heals lives. It offers hope for a productive, healthy life for those in need. Every day, transplant recipients return to their families, friends, and communities – all through the generosity of individuals willing to give the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
DonorConnect is the organization that connects donors with recipients. We facilitate, coordinate, educate, honor, and advocate for donors and donor families so that one day no one on a transplant waiting list dies or is limited from the lack of a life-saving organ or tissue.

The DonorConnect mission is to save and heal lives through the recovery and transplantation of organs, eyes, and tissue. We support families through the donation process to ensure that the wishes of the loved ones who made the decision to register as donors are honored.
DonorConnect (formerly Intermountain Donor Services), is headquartered in the Salt Lake City area. It is the federally designated, nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery and transplantation of organs and tissues for Utah, southeastern Idaho, western Wyoming, and Elko, Nevada. Our service area encompasses 3.8 million residents, 94 hospitals, and three transplant centers – Primary Children’s Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, University of Utah Hospital (along with the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center).
We manage the Yes Idaho and Yes Utah donor registries and work closely with driver license offices to enable people to register their wishes to donate. We provide education services to the public and to medical professionals about donation and the donation process.
