Firecracker 4th of July Race - 2025

Thank you for registering for the Rupert 4th of July Firecracker race! 

The race day is finally here, on this Saturday, June 28th.

40K Bike race

Line up for the 40K bike race will begin at 7:55 AM on H street at the north entrance into East Minico. Biker race starts at 8 AM and they will head south on H Street. There will be arrows painted on the road to follow and you will do the course 2 times. There will be police officers at main intersections to direct traffic. 

10K Run

Follow the 40K start, line up for the 10K will begin. Racers will line up at the same place but will be heading north. There will be police stationed at 100 N and H street, then again at 100 N and Baseline and finally at the corner of 8th street and H street, so please cross the road there to head back to East Minico. There will also be someone on the Rupert Square directing traffic and racers to run around the square. All other intersections please be aware of traffic. We will have traffic cones with arrows for the racer to follow the route. 

5K run or walk

About 8:05 AM the 5K race will start. We will have traffic cones with arrows for the racer to follow the route. There will also be someone to direct traffic at the corner of 8th and F Street (by the post office) and someone at the Rupert Square directing traffic and racers to run around the square. And finally at the corner of 8th street and H street there will be a police office so please cross the road there to head back to East Minico.
