SLS Community champions the inclusion of neurodiverse adults. 

Our vision for the future is a holistic approach to supporting neurodiverse adults with essential resources to flourish in a “live/ work/play” community that will be woven throughout a mixed-use development called South Cato Springs. This unique 230-acre development in south Fayetteville will serve both the neurodiverse community and the NWA region broadly, act as the future home of SLS Community, and cultivate meaningful connections between neurodiverse adults and the community. 

Along with impact partners, our goal is to orchestrate an effort that brings together a continuum of affordable housing options, employment, supports and services, clinical services, and recreational opportunities, enmeshed throughout South Cato Springs.

The premise of the SLS Community project is a “collective impact model”. This is in recognition that a collaborative effort is needed to help solve the complex social problems confronting neurodiverse adults. 

Our goal is to position SLS Community into a vibrant neighborhood to nurture a community spirit, provide an all encompassing approach for supporting neurodiverse adults, and cultivate meaningful connections for true inclusion in the workforce and community.

As the South Cato Springs vision is being built out, we are focused now on expansion of services and community initiatives in Fayetteville. We believe that large-scale social change that addresses complex problems comes from better cross-sector coordination, rather than from the isolated efforts of individuals. We also know that this collective impact model requires the financial support of champions who acknowledge the need.
