Walk Today & Feed Frisco's Tomorrow
Stop Childhood Hunger in Frisco
Frisco is known as a great city with nationally recognized schools and attractive family friendly, neighborhoods. Let's join hands with our neighbors and friends to stop hunger from striking Frisco's kids.
Hunger doesn't discriminate. It ravages kids who go to the same schools as your own kids. It stunts the potential of kids in elementary schools all the way through to high school.
This Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple charity walk 2017 will benefit Frisco Fastpacs, a nonprofit organization which has been working diligently to help feed school-aged kids all across Frisco.
Walkathon is on May 28 (Sunday) 2017, 7AM, at 12030 Independence Parkway, Frisco Texas for 6 Miles (21 rounds around the temple building).
Please register early, deadline for registration is May 21st
About Frisco Fastpacs: Their mission is to ensure that no child in Frisco has to endure hunger when school is not in session. They do this by providing weekend meal bags to 700 children who are going hungry in FISD(Frisco Independent School District). Each meal bag contains the seven meals a child will miss when they are not receiving their nutrition at school through the free/reduced price lunch program. Delivering to 43 FISD campuses where students are in need, volunteers are the backbone of Frisco Fastpacs. Learn more at www.FriscoFastpacs.org
