Run for the Fallen CT is an annual running event that serves as a memorial for all servicemen and women who lost their lives serving our country during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom and other post-9/11 conflicts; specifically the sixty-five fallen service members from Connecticut. It is an all-day event designed around a 65KM run that dedicates one kilometer to each of the 65 military heroes from CT who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The virtual run will serve as a fundraising venue to raise much-needed funds for our ninth annual event in September 2018. It is also a great way for individuals who are not able to join in the actual event to participate remotely. The run and event are also tributes to ALL United States servicemen and women who have given their lives throughout history in all conflicts. The 2018 Run for the Fallen CT event and memorial gathering will take place on Sept. 15 at the CT Trees of Honor Memorial in Middletown, CT.
Participants will receive a 2018 Run for the Fallen CT t-shirt and custom challenge coin in lieu of a medal.
