Race to the Rock is a short but hilly 2.4 mile fun-run for both serious runners and family enjoyment. This year's race is generously sponsored by Cheval Bethesda along with other local businesses, and proceeds support benefit Jevaia Foundation (www.jevaia.org). Race winners will land gift certificates from local business, and non-racers can spice things up with costumes, accessories, and all modes of non-motorized transportation (bikes, skateboards, scooters, and strollers for little ones). Just want to hang out without running, or have kids of different ages? That's why we have the Wall of Creativity, henna painting, a silent auction full of cool stuff from local vendors, and delicious food. Enjoy Thanksgiving morning outside with neighbors whether you're running, walking, rolling, crawling, or cheering for others.
