Race Description

The tense racial climate of America has many people asking...

What Can I Do?

Within Kansas City, Troost Avenue has historically represented the dividing line between the racial and socio-economic classes. Although just a paved road, it represents boundaries within our community.

On September 23, 2017 Race2Unite will provide an opportunity to spark hope, love, and unity amongst all races as we unite together for a run down Troost Avenue. We will be hosting our 2nd annual 5K run titled, Race 2 Unite KC followed by a Hope Rally in Theis Park. The 5K run will proceed down Troost Avenue, and will be the first of its kind. This event will serve as a platform to connect our community to local churches and community organizations. Our focus is to leverage the influence of the church to engage in a run down Troost and “Conquer the Divide.”

About Race2Unite
