Race Description

The Rex Lee Run Against Cancer has been a strong annual tradition at BYU since 1990.  It is a race to honor Rex E. Lee, former President of BYU and founding Dean of the J. Reuben Clark Law School, who passed away due to cancer.

The run is sponsored by the Simmons Center for Cancer Research with the help of the BYU Cougars vs Cancer group.  The race provides not only an opportunity to recognize the cancer fighters in our own lives, but presents an opportunity to support cancer research in our own community.  ALL PROCEEDS from the race go to fund cancer research fellowships at the BYU Simmons Center for Cancer Research.

Great run Fun and a good family atmosphere. Be prepared to run a steep incline for the first two miles. The last four are all down hill. Good luck and don't forget the massage and treats after the race.
