Just For Kids of Utah County 3rd Annual .5K Ability Run
Help us Make a Point about Abilities
Run or Walk your way to a fun filled morning in support of people of all abilities. Music by the Shane Lee Band. Auction, food and fun for the kids.
June 17th at Olympic Park (2650 W Parkside Dr) in Lehi
Check in @ 9:00am - Race begins @10:00am
A $15 registration fee covers the race, a t-shirt and lunch. 30% discount for groups of 4 or more registering together.
Register/Volunteer by June 9th. You may also register at the event for an additional $5 (Day of registration T-shirts are available on a first come first served basis)
Set Up: 7:30 - 9:30am (5 volunteers needed) Help us get ready for the big event! Setting up chairs and tables, signs, decorations, and putting cones and tape along the course.
Registration Desk: 8:30 - 10:30am (3 volunteers) Feel the excitement as runners come to check-in and pick up T-shirts and numbers! Table set up, T-shirt organization, handing out materials, and lots of smiling :)
Race Organization: 9:00-10:30am (4 volunteers) Help our runners and teams prepare as they approach the starting line! Must be able to do a great high-five.....and maybe take pictures!
Carnival and Bounce House "Security": 9:00 - 11:30am (15 volunteers) Party with the kids at one of 5 bounce houses or overseeing a carnival game!
Food Services: 9:30-11:30am (3 volunteers) Help set up, clean up, and hand out lunch to the runners. Yum.
General Volunteer: 9:00-11:00am (6 volunteers). Help us with all the things that need to be done, and the ones we haven't thought of yet! Stop watch transfer, finish line, aid station, auction item delivery, silent auction help, snow cone making, The surprise is half the fun!
Clean Up: 11:00-noon (8 volunteers). No description needed :)

Twelve years ago a group of moms of individuals with differing abilities gathered and visualized opportunities they wanted to afford their children. Just For Kids of Utah County was created. Twelve years later Just for Kids is providing summer school, adult educational and activity programs, individual and team sports, tremendous tournaments and a place for their children and others to learn, socialize, exercise independence, Individuals involved in Just For Kids lives are full, their time is productive and they are fully engaged in their communities.
Just for Kids Cares about providing a safe, productive environment for all individuals with disabilities. Our motto is promoting opportunity and independence. Please help us make this happen.
