Race Description

There is a way for everyone to be involved with Ride or Stride

You can ride, run, walk, volunteer or donate 

RIDE in one of the 3 route options

36 Mile Gravel Grinder: start time 7:45

This ride is on scenic maintained active roads and unmaintained fire/Jeep roads. A challenging route recommended for experienced riders. Cyclocross, gravel bike or a mountain bike required. NOT for road bikes.

23 Mile Backroad Burner: start time 9:30

This ride is on beautiful, low traffic country roads along lakes and through Devils Hopyard State Park. Includes a few challenging hills

10 Mile Causeway Cruiser: start time 10:00

A shorter road ride passing a farm and the lakes.

STRIDE walk or run options

5K Falls Run: start time 11:00

Enjoy the beauty of the Moodus Reservoirs and the Falls in this out and back run. It will be timed (unofficially). If you are a "169 Club" runner you should choose this option to check East Haddam off your list.  

5K Falls Walk: start time 11:15

This is the same route as the run, but will not be timed. You may walk or run with this option.
