Chicago Dresses for Dreams Global 5K

Join us at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve (in Darien, IL) on Saturday, November 2nd, as we come together to empower the girls of Uganda 3.1 miles at a time. 

This chip-timed race through a limestone path at a beautiful forest preserve is perfect for beginners, families, and runners hoping to log a new PR.

Race Day Details

• Race will begin at the main trailhead. Take Cass Road south of I-55. Turn right at Northgate Road. Free Parking is available in the parking lot and along Northgate Road. 
• Start time: 9:00am
• There is ample free parking at the race site. 
• There will be an authentic Ugandan Marketplace for your shopping pleasure. Plan to bring money!
• This race is family friendly and strollers and dogs are welcome.
• Water will be provided at one water stop along the course. Refreshments will be provided at the finish.
• Race will be chip-timed. 
• Awards will be presented to fastest male and fastest female and age group winners.
• Results will be available following the race.
