2nd Annual Police and Fire 5k for Autism

The Norfolk Police and Fire Departments are excited to host our 2nd annual 5K run/walk and kids event to raise funds in support of Autism Awareness.  The 5K portion of the event will begin and end at the Freeman Kennedy School in Norfolk (70 Boardman St).  Other activities will include a kid friendly race with activities around the field, bounce houses, fire and police aparatus to explore, community resource dogs, raffles and much more! Food and non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, will be for sale at food and ice cream trucks.  Folks who pre-register for the 5K will receive an event t-shirt and kids who register will be provided a t-shirt they can decorate on the day of the event.  The 5K race check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the race will begin at 10:00 a.m. The kid's activities are will be ongoing from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Upon arrival, you will be directed where to park.  In order to receive the size t-shirt of your choice, you must pre-register by March 22, 2025.  You will still be able to regiser up until the event, however t-shirt availability will be limited and not guarenteed.  Additional donations are always appreciated.
