Priest River's 44th Annual Timber Days

RUN FOR THE BERRIES - FUN RUN

 

Please join us for a 1 mile, 5K, or 10K run or walk along the beautiful Pend Oreille River. 

 

Start at the Memorial Park on High St. in Priest River, ID   

SATURDAY, JULY 29th, 2023 - 8:00 am

OVERVIEW: The Run for the Berries fun run is the kick-off of the annual Timber Days Celebration. After the race treat yourself to a huckleberry pancake breakfast. But don't go too far, because there will be a parade shortly after the race awards ceremony. You'll want to make sure to enjoy all the fun and festivities. 

COURSE DETAILS: Starting at the Memorial Park, the 1 mile Family Race goes out to the Merritt Bridge and then back; while the 5K (3.1 miles), and 10K ( 6.2 miles) brings you across the Merritt Bridge in Priest River, and onto the scenic Riverview Road and then back to the Park in down town Priest River, Idaho. There will be water stops at the 1 & 2 mile markers. You will pass the same water stops at mile 3 & 4 on the way back. 

AGENDA: 

Registration - 7 am to 7:45 am

10K & 5K Start Time - 8:00 am

1 Mile Start Time - 8:15 am

Awards at the Gazebo in the Priest River Park - 10:00 am

AWARDS: Times will be posted at the finish line and available at the awards ceremony held at 10:00 am at the gazebo in the Memorial Park. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in all age categories for both 1 mile, 5K, and 10K races.

Top 3 of each age group will be awarded with a medal:

Age Groups - 0-8,     9-13,     14-18,      19-29,      30-39,      40-49      50-59,      60-69,      70-74      75+

 

 PROCEEDS: Proceeds from the fun run go to the PRLHS Cross Country Teams. Come have breakfast in the park and help our PRLHS Booster Club raise funds for our Sports Programs. Stay in the park after the race and enjoy the Timber Days Festival, Parade, and Festivities. Contact the Priest River Chamber at priestrivercoc@gmail.com for more information on the festivities.
